Only 11 kilometres from Agios Nikolaos, Kritsa is one of the most picturesque towns in Crete. The locals are some of the only people in Crete that still practice the traditional way of life and the town itself is beautifully located on a rock hill. From Kritsa, a three and a half hour walk to the plateau of Katharo will leave you feeling both inspired and mesmerised.
