Fethiye market is one of the biggest in the area and is the perfect place to practise your haggling skills, from fruit and vegetables to shoes and curtains, they have it all and we can promise you won’t come away empty handed. After the hustle and bustle of the town, head to the hills to the village of Kayakoy also known as ‘Ghost Village’ which was the biggest Greek town in the area before the population exchange in 1923 between Greece and Turkey. Walking among the streets of this dramatic town, you will feel like you have been transported back in time and will be amazed at the perfection of city planning where no house hinders the view of another. After lunch with the ruins as your backdrop you will then have some free time to enjoy the cool turquoise waters of Oludeniz Beach before heading back to resort.
